I am an Okanagan photographer. I am blessed to be able to capture your personality, your love and help you relive all the feels when you look at your photos! Besides being the girl behind the camera, I am the creative third-wheeler and your personal hype-woman! I love being near water and grounding my feet in the sand. I believe I have the heart of Snow White; I can sit and admire nature + animals for hours. A perfect moment for me is watching the sun rise with a good cup of joe. In my spare time, you can find me wandering through farmers markets, loitering in vintage stores and hiking with my two pups.

My story

The heart behind my business

Photography started for me through my Mom, Alycsa. She was such a talented person. Growing up I remember my Mom taking photos of everything. She captured our family home being built. I remember her capturing me in the grass with my Kindergarten class guinea pig. I even have photo evidence when she captured me at 5 years old jumping through the waves in Maui, wearing my first lime green two piece bathing suit. (I loved that swim suit so much I wore it for weeks, lol) She was always taking photos. I have over 20 “peel+stick” photo albums jam packed with pictures that are forever memories. Everything was her subject and the world was her oyster. 

I stepped into the photography light during high school when I enrolled into photography and joined the yearbook class. I got to learn everything about film photography. A camera never left my hand after this point.

Fast forward a bit: I lost both my parents suddenly. My mom passed when I was 18 and my Dad when I was 33. After both their passings, I realized that not only did I not have photos with my Mom(she was always taking the photo), that I also didn’t have any photos with my Dad, other than from my wedding. The lack of having photos with them both is a big part of my passion.

Within photography, I want to be able to use my personal experiences to give my clients something that I wish I had more of. Photography for me is more than just a job, it's a gift I get to share from my heart and soul.
